[Bug] Department Creation Petition

    When creating a department, it requires me to add two other members for a total of 3 prior to founding a department. When attempting to add people to the department, it says that the player is not logged in (they’re not… but it shouldn’t matter).

So in this version of FoM, they had department petitions in place and required 3 members total to be able to found a new department. In this version, in order to invite someone successfully to a department petition they coded it to where the person you are trying to invite needed to be able to accept the invitation in order to be added. I suppose to some degree this may have made sense at the time, cause otherwise you can just freely add any players the department and just found the department immediately regardless if other players agreed to it or not. So the reason they need to be logged in with this version of the game is that there is a prompt that immediately gets sent to the target player with a message box asking whether or not they want to join the department petition. So this is working as designed but perhaps later there may be a discussion to change or remove this if this is an annoyance or such.

Yea, discovered in some Discord conversation that this isn’t technically a bug. However, this should removed. For instance, not all departments need 3 people to function. Board of Directors for VI is a one-person department, at the moment. Departments are also sometimes, though less commonly, used as titles, more than an actual department.

To add on to this, I am not sure if it’s a bug, but the Department will show under the player’s name and in the faction list even if the department is not officially founded yet.
